Jazz saxophonist and Trenton, New Jersey native son Richie Cole refers to his Trenton style as alto-madness and brings it to the Cape May Jazz Festival in this 1998 State of the Arts story, shot on location. Cole reminisces about his fathers two segregated jazz clubs in Trenton and how he got started playing the saxophone during the end of the big band era.

  • A musician left a Sax at his fathers club which ended up in his mothers attic and he found it whilst playing. What an amazing story. I wonder, if after hearing this, the unknown musician will demand it back. Lol 5*
