@L33tHackzor I reckon he's just being more explicit about the purpose of a parry maneuver when he mentions the "defensive parry", rather than implying there's such a thing as an "offensive parry". I guess a "beat" is the nearest actual maneuver to anything that can be described as an "offensive parry".
