go to the gym, get buff, and dress well.....is she for real? Yea, i know there's some merit in those tips, but they also perpetuate superficiality, body image complexes, and the preconceived shallow nature of gay men (which also exists in str8 men/women too, i know).....

I dunno, this clip disturbed me somewhat. Just my opinion (as a gay man)....

Umm . . . I'm clueless XD. I am 18 and just recently came out (just to myself though). I really want a boyfriend but I don't really look gay. I would prefer to be asked out but I don't think that will happen anytime soon. I am 6'3 and admittably pudgey (though I have started going to a gym). I am also a complete nerd. I haven't really ever had a relationship before and have no gay friends/relatives for advice. Sorry for the wall of text but does anyone have any advice?
