My last desktop was a decade-old Dell Dimension (notice the 2005 4:3 Monitor I'm still rocking?) I'm used to 1-2 minute long boot times with Windows. A 120GB Kingston SSD and a FREE linux OS gets the job done in a fraction of the time. I'm never going back to windows maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.

    Dude, I love using Ubuntu, but you must realize most Win8 machines nowadays boot up in less than 10 seconds with an SSD. If they don't it is cause they are heavily bloatwared...
