@Donteatme70 - That's a cop out. Imagine running the marathon. One person style is to run on their feet... whilst the other decided to run on their hands. It's obvious who will winn 99.999% of the time. Of course the fighters attitude and fitness are important. But so is the effectiveness of his techniques and how he applies them. The poor art loses.

@zachh765 naa Mauy thai fighters are baddasses while wing chun/kung fu guys are up their own asses, the thai guy would prob beat him up if he seen him on the street for fun.

@xBloohberry like eye gouging? i dont know, but i thought wing chun is suppose to be efficient at handling strikes but i guess its hard to prove that now a days cause wing chun always keeps there head at the same spot.. i remember watching a fight at human weapon were the host kept catching WC with over hands

the general idea of hammering at someone with shins and elbows works best against those blocking. Wing Chun is more about redirecting and counter-attacking at the same moment.

I think its simple to counter an opening Muy Thai kick, but then again I practice Kung Fu and choreograph fights for films. No two people are the same and Tony Ja, for example, is amazing.

I would just prefer to spend my time on the art I consider is simple yet vast and still efficient. Wing Chun Kung Fu
