This is an excellent demo; for relevance these need to be considered:
- Skin adds another element to the body's resistance. Perhaps not a lot, but some.
- Clothes can add quite a bit of resistance, in different ways - consider how multiple weak layers might work as opposed to one or two stronger ones like stiff leather, etc. Some clothes like thick coats may be able to take a little out of the depth of a stab, etc.
Great to see people thinking about this realistically though. Awesome video!

Good stuff i love it...I like watching realistic shit...and he just demonstrated how dangerous even a credit card could be..nice!

the credit card isnt going to do that much damage unless you strike a part of the body that doesn't have clothes.

ok, but one thing you have to consider. the skin adds resistance. not shown in this video. i am commenting on the credit card.

great demo

Great info, but this is a copy of Paul Vunak's famous video training.

I didn't know a credit card was that sharp. I would have liked to scene him the meat with a straight razor and stab with an icepick or screwdriver. Good stuff!

sorry, but this isn't a bowie knife, its called the Coldsteel trail master, it goes for around 129.99 at most outdoor places, kinda impratical but still useful.

I think this video is very important for educating folks about the devastating potential of even 'modest' edged tools. That 'wound' channel inflicted by the stanley knife would translate into horrifying injuries, and I think this sobering message about the true lethality of even a small blade can help explain why law enforcement personel shoot knife-wielding suspects. The 'he-only-had-a-knife' rebuttal becomes moot when we witness what a knife can really do.
