''Appalachian Interlude'' by Barry Targett

Well, folks, it's time for another Appalachian video. This time, we are paying a visit to Brother Tom's house where we will meet his new donkeys, watch his dog try to outsmart one of the kittens, and speak with Cousin Helen as she hangs out the wash. These delightful family members are dedicated to preservation of the old mountain customs. I am so grateful for them, grateful for their efforts. This video is made for my family with love, and also for anyone else out there who still believes in a softer, more gentle pace.

@MartinRaetzJr It's a Bob Dylan tune with the musician's own unique arrangement. Has a bit of the brilliance about it, a bit of the bluegrass. The musician is Barry Targett from GB, and his YouTube channel name is useryug. Please pay a visit. His music is wonderful.  Peace ~

Thank you for sharing this wonderful glimpse into a family's old-timey life in the hills, Suze. Who needs a clothes line, anyway. :) And having an understanding dog helps train the kitty. I feel your love for the animals of this world, Suze. I spent last weekend among my friend's horses - made me happy all weekend!
