Largemouth Bass Strike #1

Bass fishing in the oxbow has been fast lately. I have asked my son Andy to shadow me with the camera on a quick walk around the lake while I cast a scum frog at my high percentage spots. It's cool that I got a strike on camera. The fish wasn't too big but topwater action is exciting.

Recorded on June 29, 2009 using a Flip Video camcorder.

slow down the retrieve a little and pause here and there and you may trigger more fish to strike. good luck great video

I usually do. but this day the bass were super aggressive and all over the place shallow. I covered lots of shoreline taht day.

need to crop the video to where its not 5 minutes long.Also love how the person in the video says look how big it is.....It wasn't big enough in my eyes to call home about. But awesome to see people fishing I love to see people fish

ive used that method with unweighted ruber worms just skipp em acros lily pads and bury the hook in the worm so the barb isnt exposed to snag anything let it sink alittle bit here and there the bass just suck the worms down great

What a strike... He hit it like a big one would. Great not setting the hook immediately when the bass strikes. Where is this i hope it is in texas
