What I would do is dig a 4 foot deep hole maybe 4 feet by 6 feet. line it with a tarp and fill it with water. float a tarp on top of the water and cover it with grass clipping, leaves and whatnot. THen wait for them to do it again.

get some 2X4 wood, 4 inch nails, make a spike strips, bury then in the ground leaving the nails exposed, and watch the fun begins when they drive over them nails, they get flats!

i wish i had new neighbors about the kids same age of me i hate my neighbors like the kids are 6 or 7 and they keep going in front of our house but im to shy to say get off my house or can you play at your house or somethin.... god i hate them

this is an easy fix for you, go rent a uhual truck, ok, now find some large friends, and then go find some huge rocks, atleast 1 foot tall rocks, now place them in a perimiter at the edge of the lawn, now spray paint them black, make sure there are no lights pointed at them. Now wait, for the buggers to do it again, and watch the fun ensue

forget tacks, try roofing nails with the plastic part at the head of the nail, when you throw them they stand point up, my idiot next door did the same to me but once i threw the nails out he stayed off my lawn. haaaaaa
