  • i'm dissapointed. i have been watching this for almost 10 minutes and not yet has anyone uttered the phrase "cowabunga dudes".

  • @oetamFCTC I don't understand what someone's nationality has to do with them appreciating great works of art. Everyone experiences art in their own way, whether they are "stiff" or otherwise. That is really a silly thing to say.

  • michael angelo?? michelangelo!

  • @JeffersonDinedAlone Michelangelo was very inspired and full of knowledge about the topic and doctrine. The bible is not all literal, furthermore the pope Julius II questioned the doctrines on this painting, but he finally said: "it seems that God speaks to his artists more than he does to his priests." I believe he was right.

  • Michelangelo is one of the genius I admire most! When I saw the Sixtine Chapel in Rome I was overwhelmed by this artitst...

  • @cheatdath you're an idiot

  • Even the greatest artist of all time screwed up now and then; the image of Adam in the Sistine should not have a belly button, as Adam was created, not born.

  • @JeffersonDinedAlone Modern art classes which obsess over giving a Freudian analysis to art are largely useless but during the height of the renaissance were a young Michelangelo or Da Vinci painstakingly learned his art in the Florentine workshops was time well spent, and necessary to then surpass their masters.

  • Excuse me! this presenter asserts that Michelangelo owed so much to Domenico Ghirlandaio.... I don't have a problem with the assertion, its perfectly reasonable but he presents it as a matter of fact.... which is utterly ridiculous. It's a theory and nothing else.
