Nice video.
At 8:45, I think you meant to say "ten thousands" less than the maximum case length, not "a tenth of an inch" less than maximum.
From what I've read, the Wilson is a great case trimmer, but the case holder outer diameter is not uniform, so the case will not be held coaxial to the cutter. Not a problem for trimming, but Wilson offers chamfer tools and they need to be coaxial to the case neck to provide a uniform chamfer.

@TheMoonrakers Hi there, thanks for the comment. I got the base unit from sinclair international. Of course you could use another make shift base if you like but well I had the few quid at the time so bought the complete kit.

Hi, great detail, thanks! Where did you find the bottom base? I can find a similar base that the trimmer attaches to, but not the bottom base, it seems real sturdy. Thanks

@mdatlanta Thank you. I love this trimmer.
Urrr? I was under the impression that the case holders were VERY specific to the case. I inquired with Wilson about a holder for 7.62x25mm Tokarev and was told that they'll make one for $30US if I send them 3 cases *in the condition I will be trimming them*. ie, resized if I'm going to be full-length resizing, or neck-sized if I'm doing that. I'll investigate this "Hornady Annealing kit". Thanks.

@TheOnebigelf MY MISTAKE...I had thought you commented on my anneling workstation case holder and not the wilson case holder ...
For the wilson case holder I had to order it for the 6.5x55 catridge as they have a number of case holders available.
No machining was done on the case holder I have as you tap the case into the holder and it sticks there with slight pressure until it is trimmed...

Excellent! Thanks for the set-up help! I assume that the case holder is machined to match the case after resizing?

@TheOnebigelf The case holders come as part of the Hornady annealing kit. You get a choice of three case holders in the kit. Choose the one that closes fits your brass size.

I'm sorry, but I don't get it. How do you know how much to trim from the case and, when you do know, how do you know that you're actually cutting that much from the case?

@temporaryscars A particular cartridge will have a set length get this from your reloading manual. Measure the case you want to trim if its larger then set it in the trimmer and the screw at the rear of the trimmer allows you to set the cutting length up bit by bit so trim some brass and measure until you get the length you require then lock the screw into place and trim all brass to the same size...
