It's the Musical/theater version. It's not the same as the movie. My school is doing this and I, luckily, got the part of Dorothy. This video really helped me follow along because we just got the scripts. But, try not to chop the phrases for breaths. Its supposed to flow together. Other than that, it sounds really good!

What you're hearing at the beginning is the rarely performed verse before the familiar "chorus" {where the song often begins} at 1:23. And yes, MGM executives decided that Judy should only perform the "body" of the song [and THEN, some of them wanted it eliminated from the final print of the movie, because they thought it sounded more "like a Nelson Eddy song" than something a young girl would sing!].
