Easton dollar store turkey

EASTON - In this struggling economy, Dollar Market owner Amin Zama is happy to see any customer walk through his doors — even if its a turkey.

A wild fowl affectionately dubbed Freddy the turkey by some businesses at Five Corners has made the rounds in the aisles of Zamas store on Foundry Street, he said.
"The turkey one day just walked in, walked into the aisles," Zama said.
Asked if the turkey bought anything, Zama said no.

"He didn't buy anything, but that's OK, you know," Zama said. "It's good to have a turkey in the store."
