@tremer88 ya, i know it was a ford. but the car wasnt supposed to be a ford in the film was it, it was a made up car called the family queen truckster. my car was just built for fun, i owned the car stock for several years.

@illegalsmilereturns Thanks so much! the car was a blast to own. unfortunatly this past summer the motor let go. i tried to sell it but there were no takers and the local junk yard made me an offer, so off it went. there was just too much mechanical expense to keep her goin. it might still be there! go make em an offer! Thanks again!!

I think that you got the "spirit" of the original, but your time and money were wasted on a vehicle of the wrong brand.

My dream car! Was it difficult to make? the grill and the cover for the back windows would have been the most difficult I imagine. I have my heart set on building one. Great job!

@stationwagonfreak It really wasnt that difficult and as you can see its not an exact replica of the film car, certain areas were simplified to get the effect but make building it easier. Thanks! and good luck on your build!
