This video shows a simulated flyby through the ecliptic just outside the orbit of Earth. On the first pass, we just fly though. Then we return and slow down as we near the ecliptic then freeze briefly as we cross. From that vantage point, you can see that while all planets are nearly in the same plane, they are not quite so. Then we speed off into interstellar space.
For Star Trek TOS fans, our base speed is about warp 8 as we cruise through. It slows to warp 5 and then down to zero as we approach the ecliptic. As we speed off at warp 25!
This simulation was generated using Celestia, http://shatters.net/celestia
Audio would be good; I've order a couple of sound effect CDs and am browsing my wife's classical collection for something.

Very cool! It'd be great to see a hi-res version of this. If I might make one small suggestion: Add some music to help hold your viewer's attention.
