A couple of blown launches followed by a successful one, showing the difference between pulling on the "A" risers and lifting them. With this glider (a Gin Sprint), pulling on the "A" risers in strongish wind causes the glider to shoot rapidly upward, lifting me off the ground and swinging me under the glider. Stepping backward while gently lifting on the "A" risers instead of pulling results in a slower rise of the glider and a chance to move under it in a controlled way.

  • Didn't see the A riser lift hand work on the sccessful launch but it looked great. Same time? Same winds? I personally have done the first two a couple of times. Nice camera work on the second launch to still get the wing while being dragged backwards. Thanks

  • @dongrenier1 Not the same day, but similar wind conditions.

  • Nice launch at the end bubba. High wind launches are a challenge, but you look soooo good once you get them dialed in!

  • Nice blow job!

  • yeah, in higher winds you cant just pull the A`s up to inflate the wing but a gentle upward lift of the A`s helps a lot, and for even better results try A`s and C`s it helps me out on thoughts high wind days
