  • @hammerogod True that!! I used to own a PA-22.160. (Piper Tri-Pacer) Even that little bird was no cheap ride. A lot of fun, to be sure; but I traded it for the joys and Blessings of fatherhood. Well worth the trade, although I will say that the the Tri-Pacer never went through the "adolescent insanity" stage, nor did it require a college fund!!

  • @CounterCultureLives

    Oh Yes.

    I have owned 3 aircraft (inherited 1, bought 1, co-owned 1)

Do you know where they spent most of their time?

    That's right....sitting on the tarmac or in a T-hanger. (when I could afford to rent a T-hanger).

I did lease one of them but what I made off the lease was just about enough to pay maintenance.

    Planes ain't for poor people.

Airports all over the world are full of hanger queens or planes that haven't had an annual in 15 years, sitting around on flat tires

  • @hammerogod I will as soon as I can. Fuel costs money, so I got a job delivering pizzas to help pay for it.

  • I worked as a line boy for an FBO in OKC way back in the early 70's while I was going to college.

I can wash the windows of any plane ever built.

  • @CounterCultureLives

    Take me for a ride......

  • @hammerogod $57,000,000. my keester!! I just bought a G550. Flashed $56,962,683. under the owners nose, offered him 4 bags of crushed beer cans, and he jumped on it like white on rice!!

  • PC12 = The Dream Aircraft.

Only the Gulfstreams can touch the PC12 for smoothness, comfort, refinement and safety record.

    But a G550 costs about $57,000,000.00

And the PC12 costs about 5% of that.

And easy choice to make for someone who wants an airborne SUV.

  • @dave4shmups they climb 'around' 2000 feet per minute. And they were in the climb for around 4 minutes. Between 8000-10000

  • Awesome!! How high was this plane by the end of the video??

  • Damn guy, you graduated from a Bonanza to a Baron and now to a PC-12? Is it at least the NG? :)

Tune in next month for G550 footage from Austin...
