  • @Texarmageddon well theres a guy on here with a bolt on 2v mustang gt, its the PI version and withe slick, full bolt ons, and gears he runs low 12's its all in combination, and driver. yet the lt1 and ls platforms are really fucking mean dude, just sold my 2v and bought a 1995 trans am lt1, its got a 3600 stall, cc306 cam, long tunes, 4.11 gears, and full exhaust its way faster than my HCI foxbody, this is why i got one.simple shit and it would smoke my old fox man

  • @Locruid You sure you just weren't having a few bad races? Good lord thats a lot of time shaved off from minor mods.. I mean roller rockers, tune, long tubes, cold air and exhaust... with a vert/auto and the man is touching close to 12s.. LOL no fair.. I'm a die hard ford fan, but i can't help but respect that.. glad chevy is a rival... nothing better than good competition..

  • @YellowCamaro85 a 4.6 can be bored to 302CI.. so im going to say it has more to do with just CI

  • @amyntage with 4 cams 32 valves and a supercharger and ur ready to be right there close to a sinlge cam lsx series motor 4 times the internal topend movement for what? 4.6 waist..5.4l much better new 5.0 is what ford should have stuck with all along just sayn

  • @Locruid Trust me I hear ya man lol. I've owned 3 lt1's myself. I'm working on a bolt on/cam with stock heads built. Shooting for 360+ to the wheels, for under 1500.

    I only have 4.10 gears, ebay longtubes, pa racing k member, and a zex 125 wet shot and my car beats everything around here. I've spent less than 5,000 dollars total on my car too lol. Including the price of the vehicle.

  • @willymywonka It takes VERY little money to wake up an LT1. I went from 14.4 to 13.2 for under $1000 in a 95 Z28 Convertible.  LT's, Tune, 1.6 RR, CAI, and Catback and you've got one hell of a rocket on your hands. Pop in a Stall and I SHOULD be able to just slide under 13.

  • i'm kinda suprised that the lt1 did so well against the gto. must have been an 05 with the ls1 right?
