Every longhunter was different, but I thought I would put together an example longhunter outfit to help people get started. - If you need a little more excitement check out the caffeinated version.

  • you guys sell nice clothes, but your wooden buckets fall apart, the bands break

  • @LivingHistorySchool

I would suggest sending one of your buckets back so we can see your problem. Wood buckets and barrels that are used frequently can be difficult to keep in good shape as the constant soaking and drying causes them to expand and contract, breaking them apart.

  • I know you get 1000s of request but heres one more could you make a costume or low price short coat

  • @jastownsendandson

its the cheap metal banding that breaks, I keep the buckets soaked most of the time

  • During a rainy event I learned that the weave on my canvas hunting shirt was tight enough that I didn't have to hide from the rain. I wouldn't say it was waterproof as water did eventually come through the cape and shirt, but not enough to soak through the blanket shirt I had on underneath. I remained warm and dry for the weekend.

    Great products!
