my bsw subwoofer looks different than this one.. its made out of a hard black plastic and it says bsw in silver writing in the same spot as it says on your sub.. i have a 2000 bmw 528i

@sonofab33ch We've changed the aesthetics over the years but your sub is actually coated aluminum, not plastic, that's why it sounds so good ; )

@Josemedeiros speakers move up and down not just 1 way. and there is no difference which way you mount them.

Not that I am aware of. As a matter of fact Isobaric speaker chambers some times have subwoofers firing into the floor. Velodyne subwoofers have their subwoofers firing down as opposed to up and they sound great.
