Being a big fan of mc5 I gotta admit its difficult watching the videos of his later performances. I like his stuff a lot but it seems like he became a parody of himself near the end.

Takin' on the Night...best song on the album. Awesome that someone is honoring him by playing that song. Wish they would have done that as the video...but sadly he died one year after this was recorded.

In this video, Rob Tyner reminds me of Drew Carey in a black afro wig, wearing holloween leathers trying to sing kareoke to The Stones! He'd be better off trying to get a MC5 reunion going with the surviving members! But hey, that's just me.

He's not even a surviving member of the band, MC5. He died in 1991. This was recorded in 1990. Just a bit of history...whether you like it or not.

Not sure what you mean. What or who is sonic? I'll take it off youtube if given a good reason. I've gotten good comments from people who loved Rob, including members of his band. It's just one moment in history...
