Exactly. I love the original version and prefer it, but I also like this alot. Music is alot like movies. If a cover of a song is done the exact same way as the original, people get pissed. If a cover/remix it 'too different', people get pissed. Same goes for remakes of movies.
Imo, people need to learn to separate 'new versions' of things from the original version. The original is still there. If thats what you prefer, listen to/watch that. A cover changes nothing about the original.
