The ONONDAGA is the Canadian submarine with the longest active career in the history of the Canadian Navy. The best part is it is now a submarine museum that you can come aboard and see what it was like to be one of the crew members! This 48 Hour Traveller "Trip Clip" shows you from end to end the inside of this submarine.... careful about those torpedoes! @l3ullshitter Yes, I would not want to upset a crew operating one of these subs!

In spite of having being introduced by Great Britain only shortly after World War II (their design largely influenced by the German Type XXI U-boat), the Oberon class in Canadian service were modernized to utilize the Mark-48 torpedo. Simply put, these old boats could sink any modern warship and/or submarine afloat.
