Blackbird Cover

It has been quite a while since I did a cover for you guys, so here ya go!
This song, written by Paul McCartney, is one of my favorites. Written as a response to racial tensions in the 1960's, the image of spreading broken wings to fly is very powerful. I dedicate my cover of this song in honor of Black History Month and in the hopes that one day we will all respect each other as fellow human beings and not let racism divide us.

In the end of the video I'm holding a copy of the Indiana University newspaper, The Indiana Daily Student......where I was suprised to find a huge picture of myself playing guitar in Hoosier Guitar Idol.
