ELO Song

Documentation of the third piece I performed at 4th International Conference & Festival of the Electronic Literature Organization, Grant Recital Hall, Brown University, 4 June 2010. I have re-written this poem/song several times during the past 25 years, most recently adding the entire second section and bassline. The animation of the smaller, yellow letters is being driven by the bass, processing words I've chosen through Eugenio Tisselli's program MidiPOET. Sound sources on the second animation layer are from thelemonade's "withope" (guitarist Stephen Cope, 1991) and by Tupã Guaraná (2010).
