I was watching "John Lennon: Imagine" the other day and thought it was strange that a fan wrote to Lennon warning of an assination attempt. I put this together quickly just for anyone who might be interested in strange stuff like this.

I'm intrigued by the positioning of the limo perpendicular to the sidewalk and sort of a barrier to foot traffic to the right of the limo. I've always imagined the 12/8/80 drop off to be along side of the sidewalk, like a cab, putting the limo driver in a position distant from the shooting. The way the limo is positioned here the driver would be quite close. I've been looking for the doorman's location at the moment of the shooting, can't find him. Nor is he depicted in re-enactments.
