I live in Marbella and I can tell you what's happening now: no more constructions, hundreds of unsold new apartments, prices falling down. Good for us, we can rent or buy a flat at a cheaper price. But it only means one thing: nobody is coming here anymore. Marbella is DYING.

You are stupid or you don't know your geography. Get your facts right. This is Spain and not South America. Corruption and political scandals happends all over the world including in Uk, and USA, I can give you a few examples like Ventura in Southern California were build iligally and town hall officials were taking bribes, or Hackney Council in London UK, were it happend the same, some councilors were using money from the Town Hall treasury for private use.. the list is endless.
