I deep condition prior to washing my hair. When I use this method my hair seems to love it. It becomes very managable and easy to detangle. So, while deep conditioning I also detangle my hair. Afterwards, I put my hair in about 4 to 6 twist and place a shower cap on my head for about an hour or as long as overnight. Then I wash my hair section by section and twist it back up as I go. Because I detangled while deep conditioning, I do not have to detangle again after washing my hair. Love it

has your hair been washed and dried prior to deep condish? or do you just deep condish when its time to wash? this method fascinates me - I will have to try it.
