I hope by now you have seen that you are wrong about Huck not being able to break out of the south. He came in a close second to McCain in many of the heartland states. Huck is wisely doing his own political show on Fox, making speeches both here and abroad and traveling the country in support of state reps/raising money for the through huckpac. He is ready to take the nomination in 2012!

The reason media gave Huck a hard time is exactly what OReilly said. Media wants a liberal president and they KNEW Huck could beat out Obama better than McCain or Romney. Romney was the worst most plastic non core candidate but McCain a poor second to Huckabee. McCain could have had a chance with Huck as his vp. What is wrong with the guy to pick Palin over Huck.....

how do you explain the complete lack of interest the rest of the country has for Huck... he even came in behind Ron Paul in some states. he ony had something like 11% in california and very poor support in the north east.

Bible belt is his strong spot because of the evangelical christians,(just like romney swept utah with mormons) which in either case is blind support on both sides. but i believe the poles indicate that conservatives are being split.

Funny how O'Reilly talks about media bias against Romney and Huckabee but fails to mention that his own Foxnews bashes Huckabee and McCain while lifting up Romney. Can you say HYPOCRITE?

If Romney is the True Conservative, then he should of won the South. No Republican nominee can win the Presidency without winning the strong Conservative South, that is a fact. I would bet good money that Obama would destroy Romney in the South as well as the Liberal North.

Besides, Huckabee supporters' second choice is McCain not Romney according to several recent polls. So if anything, Huckabee is helping Romney by holding down McCain's vote.

well Romney is showing much more support nation-wide and is solidly ahead of Huck.

I disaggree on the $ issue as well. Romney has shown to be very successful.

But it is going to take more than winning the bible belt to win the presidency...And Huck was scoring a distant 3rd and 4th (even behind Paul) in many important states. Like I said... I respect the guy, but wish he's bugger off

maybe Romney should bow out and allow Huckabee to get the votes, I sure like Huckabee alot better than Romney,he has proved he can manage money better.

absolutely correct. I like Huckabee. He's a good man. But he does not have the momentum to really win the nomination...he simply can't get beyond the deep south. I like Romney too. Infact Romney is my choice. Huckabee should be smart enough to see that he is splitting the conservative vote and is going to put (liberal) Macain in 1rst place. He should gracefully bow out.
