    If i had an aunt like Sarah,i would be over at her house most of the time just wanting her to serenade me with her superb voice.

    I wouldn't want to eat etc,just listen.

    In my opinion in the top three of Jazz vocalists,together with Carmen Mcrae & Ella Fitzgerald.

    What a glorious voice.

    One of my favourites of Sarah's is her version of " Misty " recorded at The Tivoli Gardens---it is mind-blowing.

    She will never be forgotten for eternity by her many fans.

    I idolize Sarah. She was incredible and amazing. What a sheer genius and a beautiful person, too. I met her while touring with Lionel Hampton and she was a sweet and humble person. My favorite female jazz singer of all time.
