@TheKingmobster The transformers movies aren't even intented for g1 fans, nor are the newest shows (except for prime). Plus, things change over time. For instance, if the transformers maintained their 80 toy-designs in a live action movie, they would be ridiculed to death, but thanks to Bays movies the franchise's fanbase increased skyhigh, and still rising with the latest show.

@cybertronus wow . yeah it was all hand drawn pencil and ink.. Yeah back in these days it was done the old fashion way bloods sweat and papercuts. Pretty much all of it was until early 2000's. 3D graphics wasn't invented yet ..
