Comet Elenin - Questions NOT Being Answered about it! Why?

I have been searching for more information on Comet Elenin, but what is funny is there is nothing at all, since the original disclosure of it in Dec. 2010.

No new information from anyone or any organization.

Funny about the disclosure of a Brown Dwarf Star 4 times the size of Jupiter this last week. Then NASA takes down the WISE telescope!

Something seems very odd about it all.

I thought that was Venus, from what I had gathered. I have been watching that on Soho. Also I have been watching the JPL - seems is should be right in front of the sun right now, from us. Funny, Stereo and Soho are not showing it, unless what we are seeing on the right is it. Then it is Huge! Also we have Honda coming in at .06AU on the 15th of Aug. check out the JPL, very very close. Still nothing in media about either of them.

Answers to some questions.

Comet Elenin estimated about 10km diameter - It's just an average comet.

Position as of midnight 11/12 april: 10h 58' ... +4º 58'

low in leo near border with Sextans

magnitude 13.7

Tracking fairly straight and even across the corner of Sextans and back into Leo - to 10h 39' ... +6º 54' at mag 13.2 on midnight Apr 30th/1st may.

After this it will turn retrograde and head east across Leo for a while.

funny others have calculated it to be about twice the size of Jupiter. hhmmm... who is right and who is wrong? doesn't seem to an average comet from what I have read in many places. Guess time will tell

Ive watched 14 comets in the past decade that were not released to the mainstream media. All of them have been just comets. All of them have been much more impressive than Elenin. Were they a media blackout too?

They say Elenin is "breaking up" How about the fact it might actually be changing shape instead?????

Some scientists say Elenin is a "wimpy comet....I think a comet or object who has an 10,000 year orbit is most like likely not wimpy at all and could most likely be very large and dangerous..(comets and astroids with 2 to 10 year orbits are probably wimpy!) I think this "object " needs to be taken seriously.....

As of September 1st, it appears Elenin-- from its dimmed appearance as photographed by amateur astronomers--is breaking up.

@17masonry Don't worry, I know I am, I've been through hundreds of fads like this, 1997, 1999, 2000, hyakutake, hale-bopp (which was one BIG comet).

@QueueBionique Then maybe it's just better to "agree to disagree." For all we know...we could both be right. Quantum physics clearly explains this....maybe we're both affecting our reality which is just all an illusion anyway. We'll have to see what happens in September through November...then you can give me the proverbial " I told you so."

@17masonry No, I don't agree, no all levels. There's nothing coming up with comet elenin, there's nothing coming up with a planetary alignment, hell, there's not even a god so it's pretty much strike-out at this point.

Shall I come with a "told you so" back in say... december of 2011? January 2013 better maybe? ;)

@QueueBionique You're right about comet Holmes and it is true that the size of a coma on a comet doesn't really mean anything because comets are made up of ice, gases, and dust. My opinion of the coming catastrophes weren't based off of the size of the comet (although upon reviewing what I said it seems as such). My opinion is based off the alignments that occurred on specific dates and ancient texts. I don't know what will happen; only God does. It's better to be prepared wouldn't you agree?
