Today I do a weigh in, and I've lost 21 pounds in 70 days eating raw foods! I'm just thrilled, and wouldn't be at Day 70 without all of the awesome support from you guys.

I also talk about a typical meal day with Bunny, and about how I deal with making a non-raw (and non vegetarian) meal for my family each day in addition to my raw meals. (hint: Once a Month Cooking style!)

And I threaten to take another 100 Day Raw Food Challenge. Who's with me?!

  • Thats cool, but the master cleanse would be better. a friend of mine lost 33 lbs. in 30 days on it.

  • Hi brigurl88, I'm looking for a lifestyle that I can keep up long term, so raw vegan is working great for me. I've been losing weight at a healthy rate, averaging a couple of pounds a week, and feeling GREAT!

Awesome for your friend! 33 pounds is a great loss!

  • yay ... congratulations on the 21 lbs! ... i'd love to join in your next challenge ... i've been vegan for a while, and raw at times ... but not for 100 days straight ... i've really enjoyed watching your raw journey, too :) ... xoxo

  • Yay! If my bacon loving self can do it, I know you can do it!

  • Keep it going even after the challenge. Make it your lifestyle. Atleast be vegan and incorportate more raw foods, etc.

  • I'm not sure I'll ever go back to being a meat and dairy eater. Although the ribeye Basil cooked Friday night almost made me change my mind.

  • @brigurl88 It's genetically impossible for the human body to lose more than 3 pounds of fat a week.

  • you look attractive

  • Organic means it was grown with pesticides, fungisides, etc. (chemicals)

If you can't afford organic do this. Buy spring water from health store and fill a salad bowl with the spring water. Then add a 1/4 apple cider vinegar. Wash veggies, and fruit, that you eat the skins, in the water/vinegar mixture. It will wash the chemicals that will be on the outside of them. And for lettuce and greens take off the outer few leaves. That is where most of the chemicals will be. Hope this helps.

  • Oh wow this is the first vid i have seen from you & you are so cute they call you Bunny but it should be BUBBLES good on you & lots of luck with all you are doing, you have gone this far there is no stopping you now GO FOR GOLD.

  • ughh yes I know.. I'm working 60 hours a week and I'm only 50% raw at the moment, but starting next month I'm doing a 30 day 100% raw vegan trial. I would like to do it longer but I can't afford it! I would like to grow my own garden but as I said I work 60 hours a week...

  • your face is very expressive o_o

  • just buy "convientional" i.e. non-organic fruits and veggies. Just think, when you are eating all the regular cooked stuff do you think any of its organic? So if you buy healthy, non organic things it will still be a step in the right direction no matter what. You could also try buying some organic seeds and gardening your OWN food : ) Hope I helped.

  • HELP!!! I really want to become a raw vegan BUT I'm too poor to afford organic!! It really pisses me off! Any suggestions??? Please respond quickly. thanks!!!

  • This is very inspiring. You have a great personally.

  • lol! You are so cute, funny and inspirational. I've been thinking about going raw myself and you sure seem like you have a lot of energy! I want energy too!
