  • Had I been born 20 years later, I would have a hopeful diagnosis also. It makes me feel good to hear the optimism in a young persons voice!!

  • . My primary doctor suspects I may have a rare nocturnal sleep disorder as well. My side effects from the seizure meds are that I am on make me TOO aware of stimulus input causing me to twitch at night which is causing sleep deprivation symptoms. I have just decided to wean myself off of the meds because I would rather have the seizures than the unbearable side effects.

  • Im 48 and I was just diagnosed with epilepsy which I Have probably had since birth. Neither my doctors nor I recognized the symptoms at an early age, or the other symptoms that have started recently.
