This original quartet is written for flute, oboe, cello and piano. It is performed here by Ravel Studios. Anna would like to dedicate this composition to Patrick Tabet, who passed away last year. Patrick was passionate about encouraging musical talent all over the world, especially in youth. We, like so many others appreciate everything he did and miss him. This photo was taken at Anna's performance of the "Winter Wind" etude of Chopin. This was the first time he saw Anna on YouTube, and he wrote us a kind personal message after seeing it. We chose this photo because it links to how we first met him through YouTube.

  • Hi - Enjoying it as I write this :) Im amazed she did such a mature piece as this, but from the time here, I know she is both motivated and dedicated when it comes to music! :) Keep it up Anna!! :) ThU

  • @thomandy Hi Thomas, thanks for your comments! She worked on it, on and off over the past 6 months.

  • I really like this composition! The virtual instruments are better than anything I've heard, but I would love to hear a "real" performance...

  • @lilly763 Yes, me too! The sheet music is free for anyone who wants to play it!

  • Very good! I wish I could compose so greatly! I've been attempting on a sonatina, but it has been... "interesting" one minute long "Movements" :P Great composition! :)

  • @dship98 Thanks - she has been doing a lot of exercises the past few months to try and improve, like copying down the top line of a Bach chorale, and then trying to write your own harmony, and then compare to what Bach did. That way, Bach is "teaching" you. Post your sonatina when you finish it and let us hear it! Best wishes.

  • Amazing job very well done!

  • Anna, I like your unusual pairings of instruments. Kudos for trying something different from the norm. I think it works really nicely.

  • Excellent! :)

  • Anna, every time I listen to your compositions, I wonder how you do it. This is brilliant! You are already an accomplished composer at such a young age, and I am sure you will become one of the greatest in years to follow. Congratulations! And yes, we too are reminded often of Patrick, and miss his commentary on YT.

  • @LarsenPiano Oh I wanted to ask you if you give away the sheet music for Anna's first Symphony (the piano version ) ? I would LOVE to play and sometimes I don't listen to it because it's to addictive and I want to learn it but I don't have the score .I understand if you can't send me the sheet music though :)

  • Composition is a whole different skill appart from being a talented interpreter. You are so good in both. I still would love to have your autographed CD, but I know sadly that will be dificult. Keep up loving music.

  • fantastic job! she's a very good talent! have a special gift
