I think the better word for "Unmasked" might be "new wave" than "disco". It sounded a lot like The Cars and other groups from the early MTV era. The word "disco" itself was being treated like a hot potato by 1979-80, even though all it done was just evolve with a new name: "dance".

All I can say is .....If you remove "I was made for loving you off the record, or simply Ignore the song completely for a quik moment ....Then all of a sudden no one would be calling it a Disco album i bet. Cant damn an entire album for one song.

Dynasty was the first KISS album I got, back in 1979, prior to which I'd been introduced to Luv Gun and R n' R Over. I though it was a great album, and was amazed at how different it was from their previous music, and how it all was great. As I see it today, the real KISS was before Dynasty, but Dynasty is 3/4 Kiss + a great drummer and the songs are just so great, tho not as great as real KISS to me. I love it just like I love the solo albums. Only one I don't like is Carnival of Souls, btw.

Umasked and Dynasty are great albums even the Elder was a pretty good album. This is great song from Dynasty. And deuce1231 alot of people think Dynasty is all a disco album but in my opion Unmasked sounds more disco

Paul Stanley is a great musician and the greatest vocalist/frontman in Rock and Roll. I have the utmost respect for Paul Stanley because he is the heart of Kiss. Also, fellow Kiss fans, remember our frontman had the lead role in the Phantom of the Opera. That is an amazing musical accomplishment for any Rock and Roll musician/vocalist.

One of The Best songs On Dynasty!!! Peoplke say Dynasty was a disco album.....Dynasty was just reflected the times they were in at the time,there was some Heavy stuff on Dynasty!!!
