  • Please note that I chose to demonstrate these throws and arm locks without the gi to show the use of Judo in self defense. Furthermore, there are many more ways to grab the opponent with the gi, so if you can do Judo without the gi, you can do it with.

  • Your friend should really watch how he's falling. During the throws you demonstrated at the beginning of your first video, he always landed on his elbow, which can lead to a broken clavicle, if you're lucky. But other than that a nice video wich clearly demonstrates the basic principles of Judo.
