"Franklin" coal as you described is not at all hard to come by these days. Coal burning stoves are very popular today and coal is very easy to aquire. Go to your local farm supply store or wood burning stove outlet and you will likely find pallets of coal right there waiting for you in 40 lb bags. You want "rice" coal, that would be the modern equivalent of "Franklin" coal.

60 mph in those days? And I read he was 77, I'd say the adrenaline got to him and the heart attack came before the crash. Still, a manly way to meet your end, IMHO.

LOL! This is on my street. My house is the one with the car parked on the side of the road in the video. Then you see my horse paddocks with all the cut firewood in there last year, haha!! Neato!
