THIS VIDEO WAS GREAT - you know a blower could be attached to the fire box and it would heat up the boiler much faster - maybe 3 minutes. Thank you for putting together this video - GREAT JOB!

Because today we have gas engines that you can ride as soon as you start them. No waiting for half an hour for a head of steam to build up. Plus you don't have a dangerous external combustion chamber and scalding hot water nestled between your legs.

Nice video but the guy that explained it does not know a whole lot about steam engines.
What he called the blow down valve was the pop off valve and the one he was talking about when you get done is the blow down valve. But was a nice video.
