@mckmurkles well...there are some artists who play this song, like Stefan Iordache, or Nicolae furdui iancu.... also i think you don't the lyrics:P cobza it is an instrument... cobzar is the man who plays it... the song is about a man who would give all his money, who would sold his clothes just to hear a song from the cobzar, because he is very sad cuz he loved once a girl!...

@mckmurkles you can't say that is a traditional song, it surely has a composer... but it was and still it is played everywhere... and nobody knows the composer.... it's sort of traditional... and still it isn't...but is a beautiful song!
