Todorca
This dance, which is also called tudurca de tri belongs to the tradition of the Theodorians,
originally pre-Slavic but surviving in the synchretic form of the cult of St. Theodorus. It
features Chthonian devils, malevolent spirits, earthly demons. The leading figures in this
demoniac cult are the great Theodorus (Veliki Todor, or in Valaque : Sentendjer mare),
dressed all in white and one or several lame horses ridden by horsemen also draped in
white cloaks. They are celebrated, following strict rules of interdiction and obligation, by
the population of the Krajina during the first week of Lent. The traditions of the Calushars (cal means horse in Rumanian), are partly a survival from the ritual dances of the Salic Roman priests, which were also widespread in this region. Here the "tripudium", with three steps or ternary rhythm, was also in circulation.

Todorka
Ova igra, koja je takođe nazivana "tudorka od tri" pripada predanju Teodorijana, preslovenskog porekla ali održana u sinkretičkoj formi u kultu Svetog Todora. Pretstavlja htoničke đavole, zlobne duhove, zemaljske demone. Vodeće ličnosti ovog demonskog kulta su Veliki Todor (ili na vlaškom: Sîntoađeru Mare), obućen sasvim u belom i jedan ili više hromih konja čiji jahači takođe nose bele ogrtače. Oni su slavljeni, prema strogim pravilima zabrane i dužnosti, od stanovništva Krajine u prvoj nedelji velikog posta. Predanja Kalušara (kal znači konj na rumunskom), delimično su preostaci ritualnih igara Saličnih rimljanskih sveštenika, koji su takođe bili rasprostranjeni u ovom kraju. Ovde je "tripudium", sa tri koraka ili ternarskom ritmom, takođe bio u pronošenju. Obredna igra »kraj« (crai = »kralj«), koja se u selu Duboka (opština Kučevo u Zviždu, istočna Srbija) igrala oko žena koja su u toku rusalne nedelje padale u trans. Smatra se u nauci da se ovo kolo igralo samo ovde, u Dubokoj, i samo u ovoj prilici kada je trebalo povratiti ženu koja je pala u »rusalski« zanos! Video klip sačinjen je od odlomaka izvađenih iz filma »Plutonovo carstvo u Homolju«, koje je RTS iz Beograda snimila u Dubokoj 1971. godine. Todorca, sau Tudurca de tri, scrie etnomusicologul Herman Vuylsteke, are rădăcini pre-creştine şi aspecte care au fost sincretizate de cultul Sfântului Teodor, (Sân Toager Mare). Cultul include draci htonici, duhuri rele şi demoni pământeşti. Personagiile principale ale acestui cult demonic sunt Sân Toagerul al Mare îmbrăcat numai în alb şi unul sau mai mulţi cai şchiopi cu călăreţi acoperiţi şi ei cu mantii albe. Sunt sărbătoriţi, după legi stricte de prohibiţie şi obligaţie, de către populaţia Krainei în decursul primei săptămani de Post. Tradiţiile de Căluşari sunt parţial rămăşiţe ale dansurilor rituale ale sacerdoţilor salici romani, care se găseau în trecut şi pe aceste meleaguri. Şi pe atunci circula ritmul ternar, cu trei paşi, tripudium.
