வான்முட்டும் எழில்கொண்டு
வளமாகவும் - இன்பத்
தேன்சொட்டும் தமிழ்சேர்ந்து
நலமாகவும்

யாழ்ப்பாண நகரோடு
பெரும்கல்வியும் - எம்மை
வாழ்விக்க உணவூட்டும்
திருவன்னியும்

மட்டு வாவிக்குள் மீன்பாடும்
இசை சந்தமும் - வெற்றி
மேவும் வெண் தீவெங்கும்
உயிர் சொந்தமும்

கிளிநொச்சி வளமுல்லை
அம்பாறையும், தெள்ளத்
தெளிந்தோடும் பொன்னருவி
ஆற்றோரமும்

சூழ்கொண்ட மன்னாரின்
முத்தாரமும் - எங்கும்
சுடரேற்றும் திருகோண
மலை மொத்தமும்

நாளும் நிலை உயர்வாக
செயலாற்றுவோம் - எங்கள்
ஈழத்தமிழ் திருநாட்டின்
புகழ்போற்றுவோம்

வாழிய வாழிய வாழியவே
எங்கள் ஈழத் தமிழ்த்
திருநாடு வாழியவே! ராகம் : மத்தியமாவதி


EELAM NATIONAL ANTHEM



Full fertile is Eelam with its beauty
That diffuses skyward
And wholesome
With the honey dripping Tamil;


Powerful education
With the city of Jaffna;
Thiruvanni that yields
Life giving foison;


The sweet strain that swells from the song
Hummed by the fish in the Bay In Batticaloa;
The dear and near that pervade
In the triumphant and radiant demesne;


Comely Kilinochi, verdant Mullaitheevu
And alluring Ambaarai;
The banks of pellucid and sparkling
River Aruvi that meanders;


The bay of Mannar
Pregnant with pearls;
The plethora of the Trincomalee
That radiates splendour everywhere;


For the rise in our state let's strive everyday
And sing the praise of our Eelam-
OUR LAND OF PROMISE.


Hail Eelam in great ecstasy.
Let us hail aloud our hallowed land-
OUR EELA TAMIL THIRUNADU
