@th3airsofttitan no problem man. i guess i didn't realize that issue either. but now that you mention it, i used to play with a kid who always thought slamming in upgraded parts would improve his gun. i remember laughing when he got a compression piston for his rifle and it began to slam fire. I told him that's what you get for putting a high end part in a low expected tolerance cylinder. It was too much restriction and strain on his 45 degree piston sear. but no problem dude
@th3airsofttitan for example, the guy below that asked where he could find tightbore barrels. he wouldnt take the time to just type it into google, he asked for help on a simple task like that.
@zeTamadrummaster well I was just trying to clarify a bit. you would be surprised how many people think you can just ram a tightbore in your gun to make it a sniper. I guess people just like to be spoon-fed now-a-days. again, sorry for the necro reply dude.
@th3airsofttitan that goes without being said. Any airsofter knows that time, money and patience is absolutely key to having a good gun. What i was saying was if you buy those aftermarket parts your on your way. My point was that you will need them to be able to achieve that standard. because without them. no matter what custom mods you perform will come close to those parts AND custom mods. Sorry i guess i didn't clarify enough. i assumed everyone would know that.
@zeTamadrummaster (necro reply!) not really... there is more to making a dmr/spr than just slapping aftermarket parts into your gun. there a lot of fine tuning that goes into it. believe me, you need to sink a lot of cash and man hours into it to really turn aeg's into tack drivers. including custom mods and such.
@Zhaobertino im not an expert on the SR25 but the regular SR has a full length ris system (12 inches) and a full 24 inch barrel. the k version (carbine) uses a 20 inch barrel and a 10 inch ris system I believe. not positive on the ris length for the carbine. both shoot the 7.62. its just the front end thats different.
wait how does the fat guy pass boot camp ?

@joemlb15 It uses SR25 mags. The gearbox is elongated to accomidate the bigger mag so no on replacing the lower.

@claridude Then what type of mag? could you replace the lower receiver to use m4 mags?
