further i had to spend two weeks on this in which i couldn't do any normal training and on top of that yoko-gake caused me and everyone else terrible headakes.
aha, i don't know what you're quoting there but last time i saw Inoue in Tokai university he was doing uchi komi and randori. by now i've passed my exam and i think i can tell you the effect it had on my sporting ability. we were told to do techniques in a way which is normally considered incorrect, e.g. pull the seoui over your shoulder, no step in when doing uchi mata, etc.
@scarecrowJ89 and if you were any kind of half decent judoka, you'd have long since realised the effect many kata's have on your sporting ability. spekaing to kosei inoue himself, he said the same thing; when training for his shodan he thoguht they were a waste of time, until he realised they let him perfect many movements!
Hell, i so hate this. When i'm done with my exam i never want to hear the term Kata ever again. I'ts an unbounded cheek that succesfull athletes who want to do the sport judo have to deal with this kind of traditional stuff. Anyone interested may enjoy himself but I know dozens of blackbelts which I beat at both technique and sportative ability.
@HunterWoelfchen all is well :D

@hanakazenomai the beginning is completely missing with rei, te-waza, uki-goshi and harai-goshi right, so just an upload or recordingproblem....

The dislikes on this video come from people who failed to get the Kata right!
