@Toofanghazi I understand, and though I respect that, sometimes I think it's not the best thing for the Pashtun people in the long run. Protecting Osama Bin Laden was a bad idea, it's caused so many people to die. However, I respect the Pashtun peoples choice and I understand it. The Pashtun people protected me while I was in Afghanistan, and at the same time protected our enemies, its a difficult thing to understand coming from the west. But I do respect it.

True Afghans protect their own people. Their own village. Their own Family. What I loved about Afghanistan was even though we asked who the Taliban were, most Afghans would protect their Family. Not tell us anything. That is something I can respect. What I can not respect is that they protected an Arab, Osama Bin Laden. Not an Afghan. Which has cause a brutal war for 10 years now.

AFG like you said in abbreviation for Afghan & Afghanistan. It is not offensive That being said True afghans who uphold their "gharyat" & remember what their forefathers & fathers done for their land & religion never refer themselves as Afg They refer themselves as Afghans or Muslims The only people who refer themselves as Afg are the westernized people of afghan origin. They have have forgotten what their origins are but simply gloat about them similarly like the italians in NewJersey
