2:43 XPT heading to Sydney
3:13 G524 (FA green, PN logos) on a hoper train entering Dynon.

  • At 0:45 I wished i lived in those apartments, excellent view of the yard and trains come and go. :)

  • A quick google on "levien lane" found you could have recently rented one of the apartments for about $440pw or purchased one for a bit over $500000. Unfortunately you can't see into the yards from the apartment however you still get a pretty good view of trains coming and going. There's a balcony eye view I found via google but youtube won't allow URL's in comments. FYI google "levien lane footscray" and you might find it.

  • Oh wow thats next to sims st. Pitty you cant see the yard.

  • I guess if you purchased one of the apartments you could put a little "observatory" on the roof that might just be high enough to see all the action in the yards.

  • G524 was hauling the Apex not a wheatie

  • I was just testing to see if anyone reads the video info I upload ;-) You're right they're open top hoppers so not for grain.

  • That camera is awesome, I want one! Great video mate! Oh, and yeah G524 ain't the 'Apex Bitch' no more after she got a right electric shock!

  • Haha thats true!... Do you happen to know who designed NR & LDPS?

  • looks pretty cool with those General Electric rust buckets passin the Extra's yard

  • Wow! This is truly great stuff! A talented videographer. And, coincidentally, looks a lot like the HO layout I'm building.
