This special edition of the Axe of Creation is in response to many subscribers, whom after watching my Adam Jones lesson; wanted to know what I knew about TooL's The Pot. Done and done was the answer, we love TooL here at Axe and hope you enjoy this lesson. Technically speaking The Pot is no harder than any other Adam Jones composition BUT it can be a little tricky, especially when performing in a live situation. Let this be a lesson to all you Axers out there, I encourage anyone and everyone to send in inquiries about lesson topics and songs. I will always get to everyone's request as soon as humanly possible. Thank you and keep em' comin, so we can stay slayin!

  • yo dude, love the lesson, im a tool head myself and love playing their music, i got myself just a little 30 watt marshall standard amp, good amp, not the best but just want to know in your opinion a upgraded amp (with a decent price range) that could give me a more distinct sound like yours thanks

  • @AsYLuM141 I've never really been a marshall fan. The distortion doesn't quite crunch enough to achieve the tones I prefer. I would look into some of the amp modeling. They offer a lot for the price and can give you some really good sounds.

  • @axeofcreation can u expand on what you mean by amp modeling? not quite sure i understand...

  • @AsYLuM141 Line 6 amps (and others) they can simulate or 'model' amp sounds. This way you buy one amp with many sounds and effects. It's cost effective and the technology has improved greatly

  • Thankx from a french guy.. With your Tuto I can' t play this song perfectely in 2 days with my band .. Thank a lot you for your easy English and the adequacy.. Good job and Welcome in France..

  • @ryloux merci beaucoup!!!
