My school is doing the music man this year for our musical. However, we are doing the junior version. I am marcellus and i tried out for him because of this song, the problem is that it cuts out most of it. it only does the first 47 seconds. Should i talk to the director and ask to do more of it? or more exciting dancing? also who is marcellus dancing with at the begining of the song?

hey i was zaneeta 4 the music man but it was put on by a different company.... and i do think tommy is one of the main characters.... but more of a co-character...
