I have cystic fibrosis. So does my sister, my boyfriend and many of my friends. Over our years of battling this illness, we have formed a tight-knit community with a special bond. Each spring, my friends and I walk at Great Strides for each other. Great Strides is a national walkathon with proceeds going to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in order to provide funding for research. As a research assistant studying CF, I know how crucial this funding is to the progression of treatment options and ultimately, a cure. Please click the link above to donate to or join my team, Dan's Angels.

I would like to thank everyone who participated in this video: friends; family; doctors; nurses; researchers; Great Strides walkers; respiratory therapists; physical therapists; staff; and especially my beautiful CF friends, who have the ability to conquer almost anything!

  • Absolutely touching! I don't know anyone with CF, but I have enough other lung diseases to figure I might have an inkling of what you guys go through. And this is one of my favorite songs too. Extremely touching. If I could help, I would. If there's anything I can do to help without money, let me know at other definitions at g mail dot com.

  • @BradleighSimms Thank you so much! I'll let you know if there's any way that you can be involved.
