Rapping on the speaker can temporarily reduce the amount of noise made by a broken/ loud/ clicking fan. I do not recommend this however because it probably just shocks the fan, and the fan stops and then restarts.

  • @MrJoot How do i oil the fan shaft? I have a noticeable fan noise at low fan speeds...although not threatening it's annoying to know somethings wrong with the fans. thank you x

  • It worked!

  • @MrJoot no its because the barrings are worn out because of the dust scraping against it, you were half right tho :P

  • ok, this is how it happens. dust builds up on fan blades, makes fan heavier while spinning. the oil wears out on the fan shaft. the noise happens because u need to clean out the dust, and oil the fan shaft.

  • works thanks!

  • i found this out too. sometimes it works better to hit the bottom

  • You are awesome!!! I was gonna kill myself if that sound didn't stop

  • haha, it works!!!!!!!!!

  • haha thanks it really worked!
