The player housing isn't separate. They live in an on-campus complex of large apartment-style dorms that are available to all students to rent for the semester. They rent it just like other students, with their scholarship money covering it.

The person whoever commented about basketball players having seperate housing is uneducated about Memphis housing. I lived in the same apartment complex,on campus, and I am no athlete. Research before you comment!

this is 2 units in the Memphis Carpenter Complex...the football team lives there too...and the UofM staff ensure no more than 49% of the total population are athletes.

It isn't against NCAA bylaws for a student-athlete only housing, get your facts straight. Your jealousy of the Memphis program is so obvious it's sad really...
